“Coláiste Mhuire 2nd year Technology students celebrated “Engineers week” http://www.engineersweek.ie/ recently by taking a trip to visit Technical Engineering factory in the forest park industrial estate. http://www.techengtool.com/ with their Teachers, Mr Cronin & Mr Duignan. There, the lads got to experience first hand, the hard work that goes into Engineering Design and Technological applications such as CAD/CAM, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) and Quality control. The visit was conducted by John Hunt, a former CBS student, who was quick to point out the benefits of Technical Graphics and Technolgy in modern manufacturing businesses.
