_AcornAffording pupils space to develop talents away from the pressure of the State exams system, the optional Transition Year allows CBS students to explore areas that they might not otherwise reach in their normal school life.  It offers pupils the opportunity to mature and to prepare themselves for the challenges of Leaving Cert and life at Third Level or after school.

_ArmyActivities vary from organising a successful school talent show, to the Acorn project (interacting with elderly patients at St. Mary’s Hospital) to a week of Army Training, every schoolboys dream!
