Second level education is hugely important in shaping the citizens of our country. Many of our students will have an idea of what career path they would like to take, however they may not know how to access this. Most students will need help or direction making such decisions. Our
career guidance department is dedicated to ensuring our students receive advice specific to each individual.

Senior Cycle Career Guidance
(CAO, UCAS and Furthur Education Options)
CAO (Central Applications Office) is the body to which leaving certificate students must apply to access third level courses, UCAS is the U.K. and Northern Ireland equivalent. Deadlines and information regarding these applications changes from year to year. As this comes to light our Career Guidance department will ensure the essentials and necessaries are posted below. In addition, all students will receive career guidance at various stages throughout senior cycle.

Junior Cycle Career Guidance
