Transition Years enjoy trip to Castledaly
As part of our Youth Alpha programme our TY students head to Castledaly Manor for an overnight stay. The trip is a retreat in tranquil surroundings and allows the boys catch up after 2 weeks of work experience. The 2 day stay involves discussion on various topics with regard to Christianity and the students opinions and thoughts are central. The students discuss these in groups of 10 and all group members respect each other's understanding of the world. The trip also involves activities and games to allow the boys exercise the body as well as the mind.
As pupils returned home on Wednesday afternoon many were exhausted but enjoyed their break from their academics. The Youth Alpha programme continues in school until Christmas.
