Parents' Council
Parents’ Council – Your Voice in Our School Community
Our Parents’ Council plays a vital and valued role in the life of our school. It provides a meaningful forum where parents and guardians can share their views, contribute ideas, and engage positively with school leadership on matters that affect students’ learning, wellbeing, and overall school experience.
The Parents’ Council is not a fundraising body. Its primary purpose is to strengthen parental voice and partnership within the school community. Through regular meetings and open communication, the Council works collaboratively with school management to support consultation, discussion, and feedback on key aspects of school life, including policies, student supports, wellbeing initiatives, and future planning.
On occasions where funds are raised, these are directed solely towards school services and initiatives that directly enhance the student experience, ensuring that any contribution made has a clear, positive impact for students.
Most importantly, the Parents’ Council offers parents and guardians an opportunity to:
-
Have a voice in the life and direction of the school
-
Engage constructively with school leadership
-
Support positive outcomes for all students
-
Build strong connections within the wider school community
We strongly encourage parents and guardians to consider getting involved. Whether you attend meetings, share ideas, or simply listen and learn, your engagement matters. A strong Parents’ Council helps to ensure that our school continues to grow as a supportive, inclusive, and student-centred community.
If you are interested in becoming involved or would like more information, we would be delighted for Parents & Guardians to attend our termly meetings. These are communicated via school email. Together, we can continue to support the very best educational experience for our students.
